
This yacht made by Delphia is an unconventional proposal for tourist sailors. The constructor has designed it for amateurs with a sporty touch. The boat is intended for tourism, including charter cruises, but at a first glance it can be observed that the boat looks as though the regatta was its primary element. These sporty features include:
flat deck with barely marked deckhouse,
wide cockpit,
high, fractional rig,
and primarily, the theoretical lines of the hull.
The crew has two double sleeping cabins at the stern, on double sleeping cabin at the bow and two single berths in the mess. There is also a separate toilet cabin and spacious galley with stove, gas fridge and kitchen sink. In the opinion of experts (Jerzy Kubaszewski, Jerzy Pieśniewski) Phila 880 is ” the most stable yacht that has been tested by them so far – the skipper may leave the steering wheel even for half a minute and the yacht will not change its course.”
